2021 Pinot Noir Spanish Springs Vineyard

 What a spectacular vintage 2021 was! One of our favorite vintages in many years, it just seemed like everything we brought into the winery was gorgeous. Spanish Springs was a highlight, and this years single vineyard bottling is rich, deep, dense, and delicious. Surprisingly dark-fruited for Spanish Springs, it presents waves of fruit and brilliant acidity and structure. Composed of 3 separate blocks, all grown on the rockiest sections of the vineyard. A classically elegant and perfumed nature is the hallmark of Spanish Springs, coupled with a lovely richness and silky texture. This site continues to amaze us with how great it is for Pinot Noir. Dark red berries, hibiscus flower, blood orange, and lifted spice notes along with a hint cola and smoky oak.. It's pretty irresistible now, despite its inherent age-worthiness.
