Lost Lands is always comprised of our richest barrels of Pinot Noir each vintage. In 2021, Talley's Rincon Vineyard again brought the rich, tannic backbone of this wine, supported largely by our richest barrels from Spanish Springs, and even a barrel from Greengate Ranch and Derbyshire. This wine is always a bit more backward in its youth but rewards some short term cellaring. Ripe red fruits, spice, and a generous dose of new oak (70%!) brings richness, structure, and lovely toasty notes to an already rich Pinot Noir.
