The flagship Petite Sirah is always comprised of selected barrels from all our vineyards, each of which bring forth a different element of depth and complexity to the final blend. High elevation, limestone-rich vineyards in the Willow Creek district bring dense fruit and lively acidity. Siliceous and alluvial soils in the Templeton Gap district bring aromatics, savory nuance, and powerful tannins. Syrah rounds of the mid-palate and lends spice to the blend.
